Andrew Reader-Smith (NZL)
Div 1 & 2
Andrew started shoeing horses on the farm, where all work was done on horseback. He later moved to England to further his education in farriery. He has competed and judged all over the world – and at 62, he still enjoys competing!
David Ibañez (ESP)
Div 1 & 2
David, from Valencia, is 30 years old and has been a farrier for 12 years. He is a 6-time national champion and has placed top 5 three times at the European Championships. Sponsored by Mustad, he mainly works with sport horses in show jumping and dressage.
Gabriella Larnebring (SWE)
Div 3
Gabriella has worked as a farrier since 2015 and earned her gesällbrev (Swedish diploma) certificate in 2017. In 2021, she became the second woman in Sweden to achieve the master farrier certification. Passionate about the craft, she has competed in the Swedish, European, and World Championships (apprentice)
Martin Roos (SWE)
Div 3
Martin is a 49-year-old farrier from Dalarna with 25 years of experience in the profession. He has competed in farriery for 15 years and primarily works with show jumping and dressage horses.
