This webinar will look in depth at the distal phalanx. It is the bone where more can go wrong than the rest of the horse’s bones in the limb combined.
Simon will merge his knowledge with Mike Savoldi to cover the development of this unusual bone and its influence upon hoof shape and soundness.
We will also look at pathology such as pedalosteitis and fractures. The webinar will use pictures, video, radiography and scintigraphy to explore the distal phalanx.
